We are proud to announce that we will be running a fun and interactive CPD-accredited Signalong Course at Greenvale Primary School on the 17th and 23rd September 2026.

This course is open to all schools in Kent and Medway.

The cost includes the equivalent of: 15 hours of training, a manual, and a certificate on completion.

What to expect from a Signalong Course?

A Signalong Foundation Course is CPD-accredited training where participants develop and practise skills to enable pupils with a range of needs to communicate with others.

It is particularly effective for pupils who are non-speaking, including those with selective mutism and pupils who are EAL (English as an Additional Language).

Using Signalong builds staff confidence in communicating with their pupils with SEND, as it helps reduce frustration and serves as a total communication system.

As a result of the course, participants will not need any further training to sign any of the signs in the Signalong vocabulary. They can also then become signing ambassadors for their setting, for staff, pupils, parents and carers.
