As part of the PINS Project with Medway Primary Schools, in partnership with Medway Council, the Fortis Outreach Team hosted a Signalong Foundation Course at Balfour Infants School, in Rochester. This was part of a collection of sessions, adding up to 15 hours.
In the most recent session, 9 professionals joined two of our Outreach Support team to further develop their skills in Signalong. They practiced key words, as well as learning some further bespoke signs, which the participants requested to learn; such as Disney, etc. On hand, were the official Signalong books, which allowed the participants to practice, but further explanations and hands-on guidance was provided by the two Fortis Outreach team members.
